Juventus has made official on its website the return of Paul Pogba.

“When you say goodbye, after a wonderful adventure lived together, in a corner of your heart there is always a little hope of seeing each other again, sooner or later. With Paul it was just like that. In 2016 our paths parted, after four incredible years. Years in which that talented young French boy of not even 20 years old made his First Team debut, and after less than a month scored his first goal. Years when we had learned to hold our breath every time we saw him charge his shot from outside the box: we knew how it could end up, and it often ended in a roar of joy (to be precise, from outside the box, Paul has scored 14 times in 4 Serie A seasons, more than any bianconero on par with Pjanic),” it reads.

“Years in which Pogba became an insane champion, winning so much in a Bianconeri jersey, touching Champions League football in 2015, providing 12 assists in his last season in Turin alone, leaving with a haul of 34 goalscorers, to which he added the beauty of 32 assists, for a total of 66 goals that saw him star. Then we said goodbye, and he meanwhile enshrined his talent and power, even becoming World Champion with France in 2018. We said goodbye, but we never really forgot: there is something ancestral about the call of home, that something that eventually, after a thousand adventures, keeps you coming back. Paul is back in Turin, gone boy, back man and star player, but there is one thing that has not changed: the desire to write more new unforgettable pages, together. We couldn’t be happier: Pogba is with us again.”
