F1: Sebastian Vettel, clear words on Ferrari and Charles Leclerc
German Aston Martin driver on 2022 title: “I say Max Verstappen but I hope Charles beats him.”
Sebastian Vettel opened up about the possible winner of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship: “Who will win the title in 2022? Max. Yes, I think so. I think Verstappen will come out on top in the end, but I hope the fight with Ferrari continues until the end of the year.”
The German driver also sends a message to former teammate Leclerc: “In truth I hope Charles Leclerc beats him, but from a rational point of view I think Max wins,” are the words to Motorsport-Total.
The four-time world champion also spoke out against the exit of the historic Spa GP from the calendar: “Spa is a fantastic circuit. I don’t know any driver who doesn’t like it. I have no say over this decision, but Spa would have my vote. It would be wrong in many ways not to have the opportunity to race in Belgium.”
