F1, Ralf Schumacher gives advice to his nephew Mick
First points between Britain and Austria
In the last two races in Great Britain and Austria came the first points in Formula 1 for Mick Schumacher, who also got to fight on track with world champions: with Max Verstappen at Silverstone and with Lewis Hamilton at the Red Bull Ring.
The last two performances have unlocked the young son of the art, and his uncle Ralf had this to say about him, “I wouldn’t say that he can now be the first Haas driver,” he told speedweek.com, “but I think he has gained a lot of respect within the team because he was faster than Kevin and because of his super duel with Lewis Hamilton.
However, the brother of seven-time world champion Michael wanted to give his nephew some advice: “Mick has to become more selfish at some point if his teammate doesn’t understand him,” he added. “You accept your teammate, but in the end he is the first one you want to beat. Now Mick has more confidence in himself and the team will have it in him.”
