Damon Hill makes surprise bet on Lewis Hamilton

The French Grand Prix is approaching, and Damon Hill, on the F1 Nation podcast, has come out with a surprise prediction.
“My money is on Lewis Hamilton. I think the first corner will be a bit tricky. Let’s say Charles Leclerc loses his front wing or Max Verstappen punctures or something like that,” explained the 1996 world champion, guffawing at the two contenders for this year’s world title.
“Even on pure pace Mercedes will surprise, because I think in race trim Lewis has been very fast at times,” Hill added.
