Virtus Bologna, new target comes from Phoenix Suns
New target for Virtus Bologna
After losing Achille Polonara, the new acquisition of European champions Anadolu Efes, Virtus Bologna is working to complete the roster to be made available to coach Sergio Scariolo ahead of next season.
The latest market rumor, reported by ‘House of Glory,’ would see the Felsinians interested in Danish guard Iffe Lundberg.
The class of 1994, after a first part of the season played in the colors of Cska Moscow, moved overseas following the Russian team’s exclusion from the Euroleague, settling with the Phoenix Suns.
With the Arizona franchise, Lundberg recorded very few appearances, however, becoming the first Danish player in history to tread the NBA parquet floors. Now it would appear that Virtus Bologna is getting serious about trying to bring him to Scariolo’s court.
