Jonathan Milan’s words

Jonathan Milan dreams big after the two golds in the World Cup: “It went well, it was almost three months since I had raced so it went great and also the feelings were great. At E3 I wasn’t well, I had strong stomach cramps, I went home, I did various tests but they couldn’t figure out what the cramp was due to. Gradually it passed however we wanted to understand the reason for this pain and in the end it must have been something at the muscular level. With the team we went very cautious because I couldn’t exert myself, and as soon as I was able to stop having this pain I started cycling again a month and a half ago. All the program I had done last winter went down the drain and I started again with Cali also to see how I was doing.”

There are those who think it is possible to challenge Filippo Ganna in the individual pursuit: “For the moment I don’t think so, however, I would like in the future to be able to lower my time. Filippo is definitely an example and a great training partner. In my opinion I can do better than in Cali where I got 4’05″373. It is a very good chrono even for the short time with which I prepared for the event. Cali for me was an important test and I am happy,” he concluded to Oasport.
