Special Friday for Udinese: Lega Serie A President Lorenzo Casini visited the Dacia Arena today. The note from the Juventus club: “Lega Serie A President Lorenzo Casini visited Udinese and the Dacia Arena today, welcomed by Udinese Vice-President Stefano Campoccia, General Manager Franco Collavino and Administrative Director Alberto Rigotto. An important morning of interchange with the concrete opportunity for the League’s number one to admire the state-of-the-art facilities of the Dacia Arena and touch the everyday life of our Club, which is about to experience its 28th consecutive year in the top division and, by far, the 50th Serie A championship in our history.”
President Casini also spoke at the microphones of Udinese Tv: “Although I have not yet attended a Serie A match at Dacia Arena, I think the whole facility is very beautiful and among the best I have visited so far, combining in one space playing facility, offices and training center.”
“Udinese is a jewel, not only of Serie A, but of Italian soccer; there are not many properties with such longevity and this is also why it plays a very important role. In the national scene there is a municipal and publicly owned tradition of infrastructure, which added to bureaucratic-administrative difficulties make it not easy. These aspects need to be improved, but together with Juventus, Sassuolo and Atalanta, Udinese’s experience is among the successful ones,” he concluded.
