Milan-Tottenham: hot lead
A new name pops up for the midfield
It is not news that Milan and Japhet Tanganga have long liked each other: the English defender, class of 1999, on loan from Tottenham, has been followed by the Milanese club for some time, considered as one of the main targets to reinforce the backline. In an attempt to give a decisive steering to the negotiation, there was a meeting at Casa Milan with Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici, a former Juventus manager.
The Rossoneri, who would like to close the Tanganga deal on the basis of a loan deal with a right of redemption, took the opportunity to sound the ground in other departments as well, such as in midfield, where they like Pape Matar Sarr, a Senegalese midfielder owned by the London club, who played last season on loan at Metz.
