Insigne and Bernardeschi enchant immediately in MLS
Toronto-Charlotte 4-0
Federico Bernardeschi and Lorenzo Insigne immediately made their mark in the U.S. Major Soccer League.
The two Azzurri put on a show in their Toronto FC’s 4-0 thrashing of Charlotte.
It wasn’t even that obvious given the four knockouts in the last five days. And the Playoffs are now only six points away from Cincinnati’s 28.
Jonathan Osorio unblocked the match in the 4′ before the two Italians (three considering Criscito in defense as well) stepped up to the plate.
Bernardeschi put the 2-0 ball on Michael Bradley’s head from a corner kick.
The former Juventus man went on to score from distance to make it 3-0 in the 31st minute.
In the 47th minute, however, Insigne came up with a heel assist to launch Bradley for the 4-0 with which the first half and also the match ended.
No more goals came in the second half and the two Italians went out.
