Mourning at home Sassuolo: Claudio Raimondi has died. This was announced by the neroverde club itself through an official note: “Mourning in the neroverde house. Dr. Claudio Raimondi, chairman of the board of auditors of our club, has suddenly passed away. Sassuolo Calcio expresses its deepest and most sincere condolences to the Raimondi family.”
So many social messages were sent to Dr. Raimondi’s family by fans (not just Sassuolo fans). He was a well-known figure in the city for his career as an executive in Marazzi ceramics and, of course, for the position he held in the neroverde club. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning departing at 9 a.m. from Baggiovara Hospital.
