F1, Ferrari makes big voice: “Front row and one-two”
Cavallino strategist Iñaki Rueda makes no secret: Ferrari favored in Hungary
Ferrari comes to Hungary as a big favorite: after the progress shown in the last few races, even in the bitter weekend in France where Leclerc’s mistake probably cost it the win, the Maranello single-seater seems to be the best car on the grid at the moment.
After the words of Binotto, who had declared that he was aiming for a one-two in Budapest, even the Cavallino strategist Iñaki Rueda does not hide: “In Hungary there is a track where overtaking is very difficult, and we know we have a very strong car, especially in qualifying. So we want to occupy the whole front row in qualifying, so we can do a double in the race on Sunday.”
Ferrari is hungry for points: in the overall standings Leclerc is a full 63 points behind Max Verstappen, and in the constructors’ standings the Cavallino is paying a full 82 points behind Red Bull.
