Inter draws 2-2 in fourth preseason friendly with Lyon
Inter drew 2-2 in Cesena against Lyon in their fourth preseason friendly, their third against a Ligue 1 team. Simone Inzaghi’s team was hit twice by Lacazette in the 31st minute on an assist from Paquetà, and by Cherki in the 49th minute on a counter-attack, highlighting a defense that still needs to be sorted out.
Having suffered the 2-0 loss, the Nerazzurri reacted and mounted a comeback with a Lukaku goal on an assist from Dimarco in the 51st minute, and a goal from Barella, who guessed a beautiful lob on a finish from Lautaro Martinez in the 65th minute. In the final minutes of the match, Onana came to the fore, foiling Dembelé’s goal by deflecting his header over the crossbar.
