SBK Most, race-1: Alvaro Bautista gives Ducati victory and a new record

Podium number 1000 for Ducati in SBK

Alvaro Bautista is the winner of race-1 of the Czech Republic Round in Most, the sixth race weekend of the 2022 Superbike Championship. An important success both for the Ducati Spaniard, who strengthens his leadership in the standings, and for the Borgo Panigale Rossa itself, which thus celebrates podium number 1000 in SBK.

Behind Bautista came Toprak Razgatlioglu (Yamaha), who finished two seconds behind the winner, and Scott Redding (Bmw), who was able to snatch the podium spot from Jonathan Rea, fourth on a Kawasaki.

The Italians’ performance was discreet: Axel Bassani (Ducati) was fifth and the best of the tricolor riders. Behind him Andrea Locatelli (Yamaha) and the other Ducati of Michael Ruben Rinaldi. Out of the points zone Roberto Tamburini (Yamaha), 21st.
