Second experience in Trentino for Lockett

On Saturday, Dolomiti Energia Trentino made official the return of 31-year-old American wing-guard Trent Lockett to the bianconero team: for Lockett, who returns to Trentino after a first experience dating back to the 2015/16 season, the agreement with Aquila Basket will last until the end of the 2022/23 season.

With the Trento jersey, Lockett has played 56 official games between league, Italian Cup and EuroCup, scoring 624 points to which he has added 199 rebounds, 99 assists and 73 recovered balls: he still holds, moreover, the record of balls stolen by a Trento player in an official game with 7 (in league against Virtus Bologna on April 3, 2016).

Satisfied with the signing of Lockett, Dolomiti Energia coach Lele Molin: “We add Lockett to the group, a player of great mentality, seriousness and solidity, who will play an important role on the court and in the locker room. In his years in Europe, in addition to having left here in Trento a great memory as an athlete and as a person off the court, he has worked in many top clubs establishing himself as a player whose physique and technique can have an impact on the game on both sides of the court. We welcome him back with enthusiasm, also strong in his great desire to return to wear the HCL colors.”
