F1, Felipe Massa pulls Charles Leclerc’s ears
The Brazilian tries to go against the grain.
Immediately after the Hungaroring race, and almost uninterruptedly the following day as well, the dominant theme among Circus insiders – and even on social media – is Ferrari’s dastardly strategy at the Hungarian circuit. The misjudgments made by the Rossa’s race wall seem to be repeating themselves race after race – at least this is the prevailing belief among the fans -, causing frustration not only among fans of the Cavallino, but also among the drivers. Charles Leclerc himself has done little to hide his disappointment and anger in his confrontation with Team Principal Mattia Binotto, who is now in the midst of a storm.
Former Ferrarista Felipe Massa, interviewed by Sky Sports F1, tried to make an ‘uncomfortable’ suggestion to the Monegasque, basically inviting him to feel less sorry for himself and not to show all his feelings to the outside world: “We have to be patient, we must not forget that in the last race Charles also made mistakes. You have to fight and not show your frustration. Definitely showing everything to the outside world will not help either the team or him,” said the Brazilian.
