Joao Pedro’s Turkish experience starts uphill
Straight away problems for Joao Pedro: the former Cagliari man, who landed at Fenerbahce a few days ago, was immediately injured. As stated on the Turkish club’s website, “Joao Pedro suffered a muscle tear in the upper thigh.” Recovery time, according to Turkish media, would be about a month.
As soon as he landed in Turkey, the former Sardinian captain had said, “I am very happy, I made the best choice. This is an important opportunity for my career.” To replace him, Tommaso Giulini signed Gianluca Lapadula, who moreover scored in the friendly match he lost to Leeds 6-2.
