Marcell Jacobs, good news ahead of European Championships
Marcell Jacobs’ condition
Marcell Jacobs underwent an MRI check at the Institute of Sports Science in Rome in order to assess the reparative evolution of the large adductor muscle injury of the right thigh, which occurred during the recent World Championships in Eugene (USA).
The examination showed healing of the injury, with still presence of mild revascularization edema. This picture allows the resumption of training, with ultrasound monitoring in order to check the stability of the local blood picture under stress.
Jacobs’ participation in the upcoming European Championships in Munich, Germany, Aug. 15-21, will be evaluated over the next few days.
