“Every rider thinks he is the best of all, but at least for me the titles won speak,” the words of Giacomo Agostini

Multiple MotoGP world champion Giacomo Agostini in an interview with IlSussidiario.net spoke about the particular moment of MotoGp, which without Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez no longer attracts as before: “Let’s say there is a lack of a strong Italian rider like Valentino and Italian fans would still like him. That’s why you can explain a smaller attendance at certain races, like Mugello. Valentino was a champion and also a character outside and inside racing. Beyond that, it would take more and stronger Italian drivers to come out.”

Asked who is the strongest centaur of all time, the 15-time world champion did not mince words: “The report card says that I am the rider who has won the most titles in the history of motorcycling. Although then rightly every rider thinks that he is the best of all. At least for me the report card speaks, the titles won that indicate me as the strongest rider of all time.”
