Ducati, Enea Bastianini: “I was eating them all.”
Ducati centaur Enea Bastianini stars with a splendid fourth place in a comeback at Silverstone.
Enea Bastianini regains his smile after the Silverstone race: the Rimini centaur of the Gresini Ducati team managed to finish in fourth position after a splendid final comeback.
“Today I had to enter “Pac-Man” mode, slowly I ate everyone – are the words to Sky -. Too bad about the start, because without a flap it was difficult to understand how to ride. I was suffering a lot in the changes of direction, but I gritted my teeth because I saw that I was going very fast. I saw the podium close, I came close, but today it was important was to find the feeling again, because I had been missing it for a while.”
Bastianini seems to have come out of the difficulties of the last few races, “I focused too much on the fact that we raced on tracks that are not my friends. I let myself be conditioned by that. I restarted after the break just thinking about doing the best I could, and the best thing is that in the end I had fun.”
