World champion Max Verstappen’s father: “They always get everything wrong, it’s inconceivable.”

Jos Verstappen, father of world champion Max and former driver, in an interview with De Telegraaf commented on the series of mistakes by Ferrari, which is serving the F1 World Championship to his son on a silver platter. “It’s incredible how they always manage to get the strategy wrong.”

“I understand that it can happen once, that mistakes can be made, but with this frequency it is inconceivable. If they are so far behind in the drivers’ and constructors’ rankings, it is because of the many mistakes they make.”

Max Verstappen in Hungary managed to win thanks to a great comeback: “I think the team’s decisions were correct, with choosing the right tires at the start and calling the pit stop at the ideal time. Moreover, he easily overtook his rivals, as he always did. The pace of the car was there, and it was seen as early as qualifying.”
