Four slaps to Andrea Pirlo
A debut to forget.
Andrea Pirlo began his adventure in SuperLig, Turkey’s top league, with a bad night. The former Juventus coach, now at the helm of Fatih Karagumruk, saw his team concede at home against Alanyaspor with a 4-2 result.
Guests took the lead through Wilson Eduardo as early as the 19th minute and then were able to double through Efkan Bekiroglu in the 28th minute. In the second half, Fatih Karagumruk’s two Italians tried to help Pirlo, but it was not enough: goals by Fabio Borini (55′) and Davide Biraschi (72′) were interspersed with Wilson Eduardo’s second goal (70′). As time expired, Erencan Yardimci made the former Juventus coach’s night even more bitter.
