The news immediately opened the debate among insiders

Monday gave international basketball fans some surprising news to say the least: according to reports from the Mozzart Sport portal, in fact, Milos Teodosic was reportedly excluded from the Serbian national basketball team by choice of technical commissioner Svetislav Pesic.

The 72-year-old coach’s decision would concern Eurobasket, as well as qualification for the next World Cup. The Virtus Bologna-bound player, therefore, would remain out of the national team for the first time by technical choice, as past absences were due to injuries.

The news immediately sparked debate among insiders: official statements from those directly involved are awaited when the Serbian national team’s call-up list is released ahead of upcoming international commitments.
