Juventus, more trouble for Max Allegri: Szczesny stops, recovery time
At least 20 days of stop for Polish goalkeeper
In addition to the heavy loss at the triple whistle, the friendly that Juventus lost 4-0 to Atletico Madrid is the source of yet another trouble, for Massimiliano Allegri, in terms of injuries: in fact, the Bianconeri coach will have to do without, for at least twenty days, the starting goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny.
Confirming the Polish defender’s knockout is a statement issued by the Bianconeri club on Monday: “Wojciech Szczesny, due to discomfort felt at the end of the first half of the match with Atletico Madrid, underwent radiological examinations this morning at J-Medical that showed a low-grade injury of the long adductor muscle of the left thigh; about 20 days will be necessary for his competitive recovery.”
A forced choice, then, for the first league matches: in goal, for Juventus, there will be Mattia Perin.
