MotoGp Quartararo, anxiety rises: ‘Piste pro Ducati and Bagnaia’
fAbio Quartararo speaks after disappointing Silverstone Grand Prix: “Bagnaia and Ducati strong, tough races ahead”
The gap in the overall standings to Pecco Bagnaia is still very large (49 points), but Fabio Quartararo feels he is already breathing down the Ducati rider’s neck. “We have to look at him, because he is the one who is in the best shape at the moment and makes the difference,” the Yamaha centaur explained after the British Grand Prix.
Worrying Quartararo most of all are the next three races. In Austria, Misano and Aragon, Ducati will be favored: “I don’t want to say that we will definitely struggle, but it is certain that in these three races Bagnaia and Ducati will be very competitive always. In Austria there are many straights, in Misano Pecco is very fast. It’s going to be tough, we’re going to have difficult races ahead.”
