Flavio Portaluppi praises Gianmarco Pozzecco
Interviewed by Il Giorno Flavio Portaluppi also spoke about the alternation between Meo Sacchetti and Gianmarco Pozzecco at the helm of the Italian national basketball team.
“I have experienced this affair with different states of mind,” he recounted. “I feel sorry for Meo Sacchetti, who worked well and centered, in Belgrade a year ago, one of the greatest feats in the recedent history of our basketball. At the same time, I cannot but be happy for Gianmarco Pozzecco. He has uncommon communication skills, but he is a true and capable coach. This, sometimes, we forget.”
