Biennial for Grosschartner

Felix Grosschartner has signed an agreement through which he will race for UAE Team Emirates over the next two seasons.

The 28-year-old climber is reigning Austrian champion in both road and time trial, for a palmares that includes six career wins.

“I am excited about the prospect of joining UAE Team Emirates, one of the best formations in the world; I am looking for new challenges for the future. I am confident that my cycling qualities can be an asset to the team to enable them to achieve great results,” said the Austrian.

“Felix is a very talented cyclist, we are really happy to welcome him to the team,” the words of Emirati team principal Mauro Gianetti. “We know that he will make his skills available to fill functional roles for the team and to take personal opportunities that will surely be granted to him. It is a pleasure to have with us a new team member who can contribute to the continued growth of our team.”
