Juventus has a big problem in the race for Memphis Depay.
It is the entry on the scene of former Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, which, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, has forced a pause in the dialogue between the Bianconeri top brass and the Dutchman’s entourage.
Tuesday’s contacts with the Catalan side had brought a great wave of optimism to the Juventus household, but late in the evening Fabio Paratici’s intervention fatally rippled the waters. Depay evidently looks at the Italian solution with great attention, but the idea that he could return to the Premier League is distracting him.
Barcelona for its part is in a hurry to sell Depay to make room for signings.
