Sofia Goggia can’t wait to leave this very hot Italian summer and start the training that awaits her in Argentina ahead of the alpine skiing season, which kicks off next October 22 in Soelden (Austria). This was made clear by the Bergamasque champion herself in a post published on her social networks.
Goggia will leave Fiumicino airport for Ushuaia on Friday, August 19, before returning to Italy in September well into the season. Marta Bassino and Federica Brignone will also leave on August 19, while on the 26th the athletes of the multi-purpose World Cup group will arrive in South America.
