Juventus-Sassuolo, Allegri counts absentees but introduces Di Maria
Allianz Stadium full for former PSG man’s debut
Juventus doesn’t want to lose ground. The other bigs have done their homework on their debut, now it’s the turn of the Bianconeri who, for the “first”, will play at the Allianz Stadium (full) against Sassuolo (kickoff 8:45 p.m.).
Allegri has an incomplete squad. Between injuries and disqualified players, there are as many as six absentees (Pogba, Chiesa, Szczesny, Kaio Jorge, Rabiot and Kean). In addition, the Bianconeri coach is waiting for more reinforcements (Depay and Paredes).
All the spotlight will be on Di Maria, the most expected star of the match. El Fideo is called upon, from the first outing, to make a difference to help the Old Lady start the season on the right foot. The Argentine is charged up and ready, as confirmed by his posts on Instagram in which he can be seen pacing and ready to do his duty for the good of Juventus.
