Ducati, Jorge Martin says no to Marc Marquez
Jorge Martin ready to stay even if he stays at Pramac: “I have confidence in Ducati”
Countdown to Ducati’s decision on the rider who will join Pecco Bagnaia in the factory team in 2023. Jorge Martin in an interview with As assured that he will not give in to the Honda temptation in case Enea Bastianini comes out on top: “I have long-term confidence in the Ducati project and my future that I don’t know yet is in their hands.”
The Spaniard has been approached by Honda as Marc Marquez’s partner, but he does not seem interested: “I hope to wear red soon, I will try to give my best to succeed, but I will do my championship regardless of whether I will still be in Pramac or in the official team.” So many physical problems are holding him back this season: “Now I’m a little more afraid to fall and I ride with more respect after all the injuries I’ve already had. However, speed and confidence on the bike remain intact.”
