Novak Djokovic, John McEnroe explodes, “What a st…ata.”
John McEnroe regrets what is happening to Novak Djokovic
Hopes for Novak Djokovic’s participation in the Us Open are thinning. The U.S. CDC is easing anti-Covid measures, but as far as overseas any measures may not come until after the Slam scheduled for later this month at Flushing Meadows. Former tennis player and world number one John McEnroe regrets in an interview with OutKick: “I think the whole thing is a st…ata. I really think he should be allowed to play the tournament. My personal opinion, I’m speaking as someone who is vaccinated and has booster doses, is that everyone should have a free choice about this decision.”
“He has won so many more Slams than I have and this decision of his should be respected, maybe just this extra gear of his in things like this could be what makes him so great. He is one of the greatest tennis players in history, he takes precautions for his body, and it is frustrating to see that someone like him cannot enter our country. But these are the government’s rules. I don’t agree with them at all, but they have to be respected.”
