Honda centaur Marc Marquez cards the championship: “Bagnaia has taken the right path.”

Pecco Bagnaia’s two consecutive victories have convinced Marc Marquez: the Ducati in the upcoming Grands Prix will challenge Fabio Quartararo’s leadership. “It seems that Bagnaia has taken a good road, the Austrian one is another of his favorite tracks, then there is also Misano…. Certainly he will be one of the biggest contenders for the title,” the Catalan rider, currently out after shoulder surgery, told MotoGp.com microphones.

According to Marquez, Quartararo “needs help from Yamaha. Fighting against the others, without speed on the straight, is becoming more difficult. In the race, if he can take the lead he is the best on the grid, but if he has to fight it becomes hard to overtake.”

Praise for the Aprilia: “Now Viñales is also getting fast, this certainly raises the level again.”
