Pecco Bagnaia: “I put into practice what Stoner told me, it could also work in Austria.”

Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia at a press conference in Austria addressed Casey Stoner’s advice before the Silverstone GP: “I can’t tell you what he told me, but I tried to put it into practice during the race. It’s not a secret, it’s advice on how to get more traction, even though the tires are different now than when he was riding. Even at the Red Bull Ring his advice might work.”

The Ducatista, fresh off two consecutive victories, wants to make it a trio: “This track is good for us, we have shown we are competitive here. All the bikes are in good shape this year, so up front we could see anyone. Ducati is in good shape and can fight to be in front.”

On the world championship perspective: “I will try to put pressure on Quartararo by earning points in these races, but it must be said that in the last few races I have been lucky because my rivals have had problems. But now I have to focus only on track work, without forgetting that Aleix Espargarò is close to Quartararo in the standings.”
