MotoGp, Ducati: Pecco Bagnaia teases Enea Bastianini
Bagnaia responds to a pointed question about possible team play at Ducati
Satisfied with his second place in qualifying for the MotoGp Austrian Grand Prix, Pecco Bagnaia said he is well aware of Ducati’s strength (there are five Desmosedicis in the first two rows and only one Yamaha, that of Fabio Quartararo, fifth) but that he does not expect “help” in the race for success from the other Ducati riders, except from teammate Jack Miller.
“There are a lot of Ducatis in the top places,” he told ‘Sky Sports,’ “but someone like Enea is not there for me to win. He and Zarco are going very strong, Enea himself is also able to be very consistent with the times at the end of the race, he’s doing a great job.”
Different talk regarding Jack Miller: “Last year in Austin he had helped me, from him I expect it. We are friends, we fit well in the team and we both want to be up front. In the end, however, in the race there will be me cotro everyone: I repeat, Enea fights for the ranking, like me, it will be a good fight.”
