In Jeddah, Usyk confirmed himself as undisputed heavyweight champion (holds Wba, Wbo, Ibf and Ibo titles)
The rematch also did not go as hoped. Joshua was beaten, again, by Usyk. This time it happened in Jeddah where the 35-year-old Ukrainian heavyweight won by a verdict on points, thus retaining his Wba, Wbo, Ibf and Ibo belts. “This guy is really a phenomenal talent,” Joshua’s words towards Usyk reported by ESPN.
At this point Usyk can really try to reunify all the belts. Indeed, the next goal is to face Fury, the current holder of the Wbc champion belt. “I’m sure he’s not retired yet,” the talented Ukrainian’s words.
