Blengini’s impressions

After the first week of athletic preparation at the Eurosuole Forum and the Civitanova Marche sports field, Cucine Lube continues to focus the players’ work on physical tenor and individual technique, but coach Chicco Blengini announced that the level will be raised in the coming hours with the addition of jumps in batting, wall and offensives. This is a step that has come gradually and will serve in view of the first joint practice scheduled for Saturday, September 3, at home with Med Store Tunit Macerata.

Coach Gianlorenzo Blengini: “I am satisfied with the approach of the athletes and the type of activity carried out. This will be continued by adding technical aspects in jumping with attack, batting and wall. With the exception of Zaytsev, who had trained continuously with the national team, the other athletes had been keeping fit individually. Nothing to do with the intensity of loads required by our training. There was a need to progress and everything is going according to script. Those present responded well by circumventing the risks of muscle injuries and hiccups. The only aches and pains are physiological and indicate the effectiveness of the efforts. I think it is fair to commend our athletes for their efforts. At this reduced-rank stage, they are all charged up and eager to relive everyday life on the field. I am not surprised that new people are fascinated by the organization and modus operandi of this club. When we choose athletes we opt for professional people who can appreciate this and are in line with Lube’s criteria. Returning to the volleyball played, with progressiveness we will bring the boys to face joint workouts to have summaries of individual work in the context of the game. Next week, when the jumping condition will allow us to grow, some youngsters from the white-and-red nursery will also come to the gym with us. This is a choice that will give us options in the technical sessions and expand the experience of the Academy boys!”
