The Nerazzurri coach has something to reproach his people for

It was anything but an easy night for Simone Inzaghi: the defeat at the Olimpico against Lazio is hard to digest, as much for reasons of the standings as because it downgrades the Nerazzurri’s results in the first two days against Lecce and Spezia.

At the end of the match, at the microphones of ‘Dazn,’ the Piacenza coach did not hide: “The defeat stings for how it came,” he said, “We fought on equal terms against a quality opponent, but Luis Alberto’s goal broke the game. If Dumfries, just before, had taken advantage of an important goal chance we would be talking about something else. Beyond the episodes, we had to have more nastiness.”

“Surely we have to do better,” Inzaghi added. “A team like ours cannot take the first goal like that. Instead, the second and third came from very important individual plays. But I reviewed the first goal, we cannot concede goals like that.”
