Paola Egonu and Italvolley are already in world-class form

Italy-Bulgaria 3-0

The European champions of the Italian national team won their second friendly match against Bulgaria 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-17) in Cavalese.

The test-match, also played in Val di Fiemme at the Palazzetto dello Sport Árpàd Weisz, recorded an even clearer affirmation for Mazzanti’s girls: absolute masters of the court in every set.

The Italian CT confirmed the same starting lineup as on Friday, deploying Orro at setter, opposite Egonu, setters Bosetti and Sylla, powerhouses Danesi and Chirichella, and libero De Gennaro.

Italy will finish the gathering tomorrow and then will meet again in Cavalese on Thursday, Sept. 1, to take a collegiate match, during which two friendlies are scheduled against France: Sunday, Sept. 4, and Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. (entrance fee).
