Former Azzurri national team player and Sky Sport commentator Matteo Soragna, spoke, interviewed by Sportal.it, about what could happen in the upcoming Lba season, with the two overwhelming favorites still in the front row: Olimpia Milano and Virtus Bologna.

“Some surprises in Serie A will still be there, in history, in general there is always some surprise but I think that objectively with the budgets of Milan and Bologna and with the teams they have set up, I would be really surprised if we don’t find them again in the finals,” explained the former Biella and Treviso winger, among others.

Then a look also at the European path that awaits the Bologna and Milanese teams: “In the Euroleague, for Virtus it must be a good comeback. By winning the EuroCup they have an important baggage, it is a team that has won so I think it can ask itself and its Euroleague, already something very ambitious. Milan I think after reaching the Final 4 two years ago is ‘forced’ to fight to go all the way.”
