Inter rears its head again, beats Cremonese
Victory at San Siro for Inzaghi’s Inter Milan.
Inter immediately raised its head again after the ugly defeat against Lazio: the Nerazzurri beat Cremonese 3-1 at the San Siro in a match valid for the fourth day of the championship.
Correa unlocked the result after Radu’s short clearance on Dzeko’s earlier shot, Barella doubled it in the 38th minute with a splendid volley on Calhanoglu’s assist. The grigiorossi did not demerit at all but failed to sting in attack, although Pickel failed to take advantage of a sensational chance in the 21st minute.
In the second half Lautaro Martinez sealed the game by finalizing a nice counterattack triggered by Barella. Okereke made the loss less bitter with a fine shot on 91 minutes. Inter rose to 9 points in the standings in second place, Cremonese stopped at zero.
