Juventus, Paul Pogba worries: return slipped
Paul Pogba behind schedule: target Benfica or Monza
Paul Pogba’s return to the field is postponed: the French midfielder, who opted for conservative therapy after his meniscus injury in order not to risk missing the World Cup, is still behind schedule, according to rumors coming out of Turin, and is unlikely to meet his previously set goals (return against Salernitana on Sept. 11).
Knee sensations are still not good: the French midfielder has set as his new target the Champions match against Benfica on Sept. 14 or the next one on Sept. 18 against Monza, before the break for national teams.
These were Allegri’s words in a press conference Tuesday: “For now he is not available. If everything goes in the best way, next week he will start running a little bit, we hope to have him soon because he is very important for us.”
