F1, prestigious honor for Max Verstappen
The world champion received an important honor
On the eve of his home Grand Prix, at the Zandvoort circuit, Max Verstappen received a prestigious honor: the reigning world champion, in fact, was named an officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau, which is headed by King William Alexander of the Netherlands. The military chivalric order, is the third most important in the Netherlands.
An added incentive for the highly anticipated Orange tide, ready to push its darling to another victory after those in France, Hungary and the last one, in Belgium, on the Spa circuit.
“Being named an Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau is incredibly proud for me and was very unexpected for me so early in my career. I want to thank my family and loved ones, but also Red Bull who has been like a second family to me. We have achieved this together,” Max Verstappen wrote on his own social media after being named an officer of the order.
