Stefano Inzaghi takes the count ahead of the derby

Tomorrow at 6 p.m. Inter will take on AC Milan. Simone Inzaghi presented the challenge against the Rossoneri this way, “Last year many derbies were played, the last one was won 3-0 by Inter and allowed us to win a trophy. We know what happened in the return leg in the league, I think a derby is charged on its own. I have guys with great personality and desire, they are comparing the top two from last season’s championship. And as in all matches, this year’s competitions will be balanced.”

The Biscione helmsman then counted: “Today’s training is missing. Bastoni was not 100 percent already before Cremonese, he had a feverish rise, however, he had given me availability and I preferred to make other choices. In these two days he still had an indisposition, today he will return to the group and I will have to decide. As I will have to do in attack: without Lukaku, they will be three and Lautaro was on the bench at the beginning against Cremonese, so I will have to choose his partner knowing that Correa did very well and scored, Dzeko did an extraordinary job and I was sorry that he did not score. On the flanks I also have to choose: I hope Bastoni can be drafted in, we’ll be 19 movement plus three goalkeepers, with Lukaku out.”

Robin Gosens seemed destined to leave Milan: “You had asked me a question after the match with Cremonese, I knew nothing about it. The player is 100 percent in the Inter world, last year he was out for six months and he is working with great desire. Right now I’m preferring to bring him in, for tomorrow we’ll see: I can choose Dimarco or Darmian, or Robin himself.”

The Inter coach later took stock of the Nerazzurri market: “Yes, the club has worked very well, managing to retain important players, knowing that there were clear stakes, put in place since my arrival. I am satisfied with the team, I know that both sessions were positive financially, but it matters that the team is competitive.”
