After his victory against Murray, Matteo Berrettini sends a message to the Swiss: “I want to play against him one more time.”
Matteo Berrettini expressed his desire to play at least once more in his career against the legend Roger Federer, who may soon make his return to the court after more than a year’s stop. “I am here because of Roger,” said the Roman tennis player after his Us Open victory over Andy Murray.
“He has been my idol, I used to cheer for him and now I absolutely want him back on the court. He is still great, he is like Serena, there are no others like him. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I hope I can play against him again in the future.”
