Valentino Rossi collects another big applause

Honeyed words from teammate Nico Müller

After his excellent performance in the 3 Hours of Hockenheim and the podium finish grazed by the WRT Team Audi drivers, Valentino Rossi collected important words of praise from teammate Nico Müller.

“The race was not linear, a lot of things happened,” the Swiss driver told official team channels. We had a podium pace in terms of absolute performance; Vale did a mega job, he took another step forward.”

“All in all, it was a good result,” Müller further explained. “Fifth place tastes a little bittersweet because we could have been on the podium. But we are getting closer.”

Valentino Rossi, along with Müller and Frederic Vervisch, finished the 3 Hours of Hockenheim in the top 5 despite a mistake at the start – which, however, was followed by a fine comeback – and a 5-second penalty served at the last pit stop.
