The words of Valentino Rossi

Close podium for Valentino Rossi in the WRT team’s Audi in the GT World Challenge Europe.

The Doctor, with Frederic Vervisch and Nico Muller, finished the 3 Hours of Hockenheim in fifth place, despite a mistake at the start that forced a comeback race and a 5-second penalty served at the last pit stop.

The victory was taken by the Audi of Team Sainteloc Racing, driven by Lucas Legeret, Christopher Mies and Patric Niederhauser.

“The start was really tricky and, in fact, in turn 3 I made a mistake and ended up off the track. That’s too bad, because the starting position was good – admitted Valentino Rossi – There was a long Safety Car period, but after that I showed a good pace and I was able to recover. Our Audi was very fast on this track.”
