One disqualified, fines for Lazio, Spezia and Milan

Only one disqualified in Serie A ahead of the sixth day of the championship.

The sports judge issued the verdicts after the last matches played on Monday evening, Sept. 5.

Lazio will have to do without Danilo Cataldi in the match scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Stadio Olimpico against coach Cioffi’s Hellas Verone.

“Disqualification for one actual match day and a caution for Cataldi Danilo (Lazio): for protesting against the match officials (Second sanction); for having also, at the end of the match, in the hallway in front of the locker room, disputed in a disruptive manner a refereeing decision, uttering, in addition, a blasphemous expression; infraction detected by the collaborators of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office,” reads the note released by the League.

Fines also came for three clubs: Lazio and Spezia because of chants intoned by their supporters and Milan because of the throwing, on the San Siro pitch, of three plastic bottles.
