European Championships, Luka Doncic puts up 47: he’s in history

The Mavs ace is putting on a show at the Europeans.

In addition to Antetokounmpo and Jokic, there is also Doncic. The Slovenian takes the stage with a monster performance against France (game won by Slovenia 88-82), the Dallas Mavs ace plays a legendary game, finishing with an impressive 47 points.

It was a historic performance. Better than Doncic in a European championship only one player: the Belgian Terrace in the 1957 edition with an impressive 63 total points (there was no three-point shooting yet). Doncic dreams of taking Slovenia all the way to the tournament. With performances like the one against France, anything seems possible. It remains to be seen how the other NBA super stars present at the Europeans, namely Antetokounmpo and Jokic, will react.
