Mauro Icardi, who landed in Istanbul amid the general enthusiasm of Galatasaray fans, made his first statements as a Giallorossi player
The former Inter Milan striker was quick to point out that he was taken from Paris Saint-Germain on a loan deal and therefore in a few months he could already start looking for a new team.
“I am very excited,” he told the club’s official channels, “I will be here for a year and the idea is to achieve success, then we will see later what happens next. My family and I are very happy to come to Istanbul.”
Icardi before signing with the Turks was also hinted at Monza, although Adriano Galliani denied the existence of any negotiations.
