F1 Gp Monza: Red Bull and Verstappen do not fear Ferrari
Max Verstappen: “We chose to have more downforce, we will be very strong on Sunday”
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has Sky Sports shows swagger despite Charles Leclerc’s pole position at Monza: “We thought we would sacrifice something for qualifying, thinking our set-up would be better for the race. Of course, it won’t be as easy to overtake as at Spa, but I think with these cars it will also be possible to use the slipstream well to our advantage.”
Also very swaggering was Max Verstappen: “Here we chose to have more downforce and on a dry lap it’s probably not the best set-up, but we came close. We will be strong for tomorrow, knowing also that I will have to start further back. Overall it was a good lap, I enjoyed it all weekend and it will be a good battle tomorrow.”
